Redland Visits CSU for the 2025 HLA Mixer

Feb 12, 2025 , ,

Last week, Redland Planners and Landscape Architects returned to Ft. Collins to visit Colorado State University’s Horticulture and Landscape Architecture department. The department hosted its annual HLA Career Mixer, which allows students to speak with multiple businesses. In addition, companies could tour the HLA studios at the Nutrien Agricultural Sciences Building.

We shared and explained aspects of some of our most prominent projects with those in attendance. We highlighted site planning, project phasing, as well as park and village center design for Crescence located in Elbert County. Students also learned about project theming and SketchUp modeling for our latest residential project in Erie, NorthSkye.

At Redland, we always value the opportunity to speak with aspiring students who will surely lead the next generation of land development. The best conversations stem from the desire to learn, and it was encouraging to share our experiences and hear from the students about their own. We look forward to returning to CSU and spending more time with the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture department in the future.
