Tradition Continues – Redland Hosts Summer Picnic

Aug 23, 2023 , , , ,

Summer can be a busy time for everyone, but here at Redland we always make sure to block off a night for our Annual Summer Picnic! The annual picnic took place early August and featured a tropical theme, making it clear that this office enjoys their Hawaiian shirts and a good swim. What makes the picnic great is that it is open to associates’ friends and families. Our picnic provides something for everyone and encourages reconnecting, relaxing, and some friendly competition.

What would a picnic be without some games? Returning games included volleyball, limbo, spikeball, and more! However, the night is typically headlined by our multitude of contests. Our cornhole tournament plays throughout the entire event, with a new champion being crowned this year. A fan favorite is the ice cream making competition, which featured exciting flavors like graham cracker, pina coloda, and s’mores. The main event is our tug-o-war. A mainstay in Redland’s 15 years, the tug-o-war divides the office in to two teams in a best of three battle. Cap it all off with a watermelon eating contest (see pictures below), and that equals a fun night for everyone.

At Redland we value hard work, and we know hard work makes these events even more rewarding. We are grateful to have associates that participate and work together. We are thankful to have their families support and join us in the festivities. Another great picnic in the books, and we are so very excited to do it all again next year!
