A Promising Project Update for Prominence

Dec 17, 2024 , , , ,

Prominence, a new master-planned community in Elbert County, Colorado has taken a major step forward. Prominence received County Commissioner approval of the Planned Development (PUD) rezoning and Preliminary Plat which will pave the way for future Plats. The 1,200-acre master plan is located approximately 15 miles east of the Town of Parker and 8 miles north of the Town of Kiowa along Kiowa-Bennett Road and north of CR 166.

Prominence is visioned and planned as a conservation-minded community with over 50% of the development dedicated as open space. The new community will also provide existing and future residents with commercial services, a community center, industrial uses, a school site, miles of trails, and numerous outdoor experiences. Kiowa-Bennett Road functions as a main north-south throughfare providing a great opportunity for the mix of uses with ease north/south access.

Redland began design on Prominence in late 2023 including Land Planning, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, and entitlement services. Redland has worked closely with Tim Craft and his team at Craft Companies to ensure that Prominence will be a desirable, well-planned, and preservation-focused community.

Construction is anticipated to begin in 2026. For more information on Prominence, you can visit the FAQ board HERE.
