Redland is helping to bring a brand new master-planned community to the Town of Erie.
On Tuesday, December 13th, the Summerfield Community Master Plan was reviewed by the Town of Erie’s Board of Trustees and received support and high praise for the overall goal to “fill a community need” by offering multi-generational living within the Town of Erie. Summerfield hopes to retain the existing character of its longtime residents by creating a unique mix of active adult living opportunities.
Summerfield is a 620 acre proposed community located northeast of Downtown Erie. With unique neighborhood districts, Summerfield will offer the active adult a variety of community amenities including miles of trail networks and recreation centers, as well as a vibrant retail village center.
Community Development Group, the property owner, is committed to the success of the Town of Erie, having been a part of projects such as Erie Commons, Erie Community Parkway, the Erie Community Center and Library, as well as Colliers Hill.
